Abdulla Nahidh

Abdulla Nahidh graduated with a Bachelor of Shari’ah and Law with Honors from the Maldives National University and holds license to appear before the Supreme Court and the High Court of the Maldives. Nahidh specializes in providing expert legal advice on real estate and land law cases, consistently delivering top-tier services to corporate entities across a spectrum of commercial and corporate issues.

Nahidh served as the Manager of the Legal Affairs Department and Company Secretary at Maldives Hajj Corporation Limited (MHCL). Nahidh acted as legal officer at the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure from 2017 till January 2019. Additionally, Nahidh worked legal consultant at Muhaameen Chambers LLP and AccruPLus LLP. In these roles, he navigated the clients with complexities of corporate governance, regulatory compliance and commercial contracts. Throughout his career, Nahidh has orchestrated numerous successful business transactions and resolved complex contractual disputes. Nahidh's prior experiences working in government and other corporate entities provide him with a competitive advantage in offering expert legal advice on complex real estate and commercial issues.

Nahidh is also a co-founder and the Vice President of the Public Interest Law Centre (PILC), an organization dedicated to providing pro bono legal services to socially and economically marginalized groups and individuals.

Nahidh has also completed Leadership, Management, and Personal Strategic Planning Training at Sofra Tanmia Global Academy (STGA), UK, as well as training on FIDIC Standards in Infrastructure Contracts and Sovereign Debt Instruments conducted by the Department of Commerce, USA. Additionally, Nahidh has successfully completed Companies Secretaries Training conducted by the Capital Market Development Authority of the Maldives.
